AUDITIONS

Auditions for the Florida Festival of New Musicals will be
June 21, 2017 from 1-9pm and June 22, 2017 from 10am-6pm.

Auditions are by appointment only and will take place at The Winter Park Playhouse, 711 Orange Avenue, Suites B & C Winter Park, FL 32789. Please call (407) 645-0145 to schedule an audition time.

The Playhouse is seeking professional Equity (Staged Reading Agreement) & Non-Equity musical theatre performers. Click here to view the character breakdowns for the six selected new musicals. Rehearsals and performances will be no more than a 29-hour total commitment. Housing is not provided.

Audition requirements:

  • Prepare 16-32 bars of an up-tempo and a ballad (classic musical theatre pieces preferred) and a one minute comic monologue.
  • Bring sheet music in your key - an accompanist will be provided. No tapes or CDs permitted.
  • Bring a non-returnable headshot and resume. 

 

The Winter Park Playhouse has already held auditions for the 2017-2018 Series.
