All cabarets for the 2025-2026 season will be held in the Mandell Theatre at Orlando Shakes. All seats will be a ticketed admission. Drinks are not included in the ticket price but are available for purchase at the lobby bar.

Acclaimed triple-threat performer Adam Biner taps his way back onto stage of the Winter Park Playhouse's Spotlight Cabaret Series with his new solo cabaret Back to the Basics on Wednesday, November 19th, and Thursday, November 20th at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Brandon Kaufman will accompany on piano. The cabaret will take place at Orlando Shakes in the Mandell Theatre.

Join one the region's leading song and dance performers as he takes you back to his theatrical upbringing and how he "learned the biz" from Broadway legends. Adam shares his journey through competitive conservatories as he sings and dances the songs that built his theatrical and educational foundation.

Adam will delight audiences as he sings and taps his way through classic Broadway hits including "Singin' in the Rain," "42nd Street," "I Got Rhythm," "Put on a Happy Face" and more. From Gene Kelly to Dick Van Dyke, Top Hat to Bye Bye Birdie, and leading men to second fiddles — Adam will cover it all!

Adam Biner is a New York/New Jersey native who is currently living in Winter Park, Florida, and is well remembered for his role in the highly celebrated one man show George M. Cohan Tonight! on The Playhouse stage. Other Winter Park Playhouse credits include Wreck the Halls, Five Course Love, What A Glorious Feeling, Steppin' Out With Irving Berlin, and Crazy For Gershwin. He has also been a continual presence in the theatre's Florida Festival of New Musicals each year.

Regional credits include Intimate Apparel and Evita at Orlando Shakes, Mary Poppins (Bert), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Finch), Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Ragtime (Younger Brother), Kiss Me Kate (Bill Calhoun), Carousel, A Christmas Carol, Fiddler on the Roof, and White Christmas. You can also catch Adam performing throughout the week at Universal's Epic Universe.

The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabarets are being performed inside the Mandell Theatre at Orlando Shakes located at 812 E. Rollins Street, Orlando, FL 32803. Tickets are $23 and all seats are reserved.

The cabaret will be filmed and available to enjoy virtually Friday, December 5th through Monday, December 8th, 2025. A private link will be sent at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 5th, and will be valid for 4 days. Virtual tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or by calling the box office.
