AUDITIONS



The Winter Park Playhouse will hold auditions on March 31 & April 2, 2026,
for the first three shows of its 2026-2027 Series of Musicals.


AUDITION SCHEDULE (by appointment only)

  • Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 1 PM – 7 PM
  • Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026

LOCATION

Auditions will be held in the Mandell Theater at Orlando Shakes, located at 812 E. Rollins St, Orlando, FL, 32803. The Winter Park Playhouse's building on Orange Avenue remains closed at this time during renovations.

SEEKING

The Playhouse seeks Equity (Single Engagement Agreement) & non-Equity musical theatre performers for the first three shows of the 2026-2027 Series of Musicals. Actors of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to audition.

PREPARATION

Please prepare:

  • a one-minute comedic monologue
  • 2 short song selections: 16-32 bars of an up-tempo and a ballad
    (classic musical theatre pieces preferred)

Bring:

  • Sheet music in your key for the provided accompanist to play
    ** Pre-recorded accompaniment is NOT permitted (no CDs, etc.)
  • 2 non-returnable physical copies of your headshot and resume
  • Your membership ID if you are a member of Actors' Equity

OTHER

Housing is not provided.

For shows requiring dancing, combinations will be taught at the callbacks.

Auditions for the remaining three shows of the 2026-2027 Series will take place in August 2026. Dates TBD.
